For the CX5 you have to change 2 Blocks. One to activate the Menu in the MZD and one to activate the automatic doorlock. CX5 has a RBCM, the CX3 not. The blocks in RBCM from the CX5 are 7B7-01-01 and 7B7-01-02. I think the CX3 has also the posibility to activate the menu in MZD, (the US-version has this) but whe have to find this value.
It could be that the value is in 726-02-01. In this block i can write and i have tried to write the same like "Duy Huynh" in the m3-revo-forum has posted from his Mazda2. But it dosn´t work.

Darf man, ich habe 223,- gezahlt. Kommt aber auf die Austattung an, mit plug&play OBD-Adapter (keine Lötarbeiten etc.) kommt man auf ca. 250,-€.(Ist aber auch abhängig von den Einkaufspreisen die Matthias hat) Der Adapter nützt mir aber nix, weil ich die OBD-Schnittstelle mit dem OBD-Saver gesichert habe.
Bei plug&play wird alles nur angesteckt und die Kabel entsprechend verlegt. Ist also auch für Laien relativ einfach zum einbauen.

@Zehnsteine: diese Gadget liegt grad bei mir aufm Schreibtisch und wartet auf den Einbau. Geiles Teil, hab es in Heimbuchenthal mit Matthias an meinem CX3 erfolgreich getestet. Da war er noch nicht sicher ob es mit dem Diesel funzt, was es aber ohne Probleme tut. Ein CX3-Benziner fährt schon damit rum.

nice to hear, that it really is, so that you can not really write in block 726-01-01. i think there is one other parameter to change, so that the parameter "automatic door-lock - not equiped" change to "eqiped". but how whe find this fuc... parameter.

heute kam das 2CAN-Modul von Matthias. Jetzt muß nur noch das Wetter mitspielen und ich etwas Zeit finden, damit ich das alles einbauen kann.

@Zehnsteine: kleine Info zu der super Anleitung, den Clip mit dem Fangband aus Deiner Anleitung kann man auch "aushängen" und wieder nutzen. Ist zwar ne ziemliche Fummelei, aber günstiger als ein Neuer. Den Tip habe ich von Matthias aus dem CX5-Forum. Er hat das in seiner Anleitung für das 2CAN-Modul beschrieben.

Stephan, ich meinte die Schaltempfehlung allgemein, das von Dir beschriebene Phänomen kenn ich aber auch. Meine Aussage bezieht sich ja auch mit darauf "....wie früher der E- oder 5. Gang, eher auf Spritsparen ausgelegt...."
